Getting Old?

I can't function without my morning cup of coffee,

Every time I hear the song "Two is better than one", I think about Bethany's upcoming wedding and start crying,

Teenagers milling aimlessly around the mall get on my nerves,

My oldest child will be 13 in six weeks,

I can't pass a Starbucks and not pull in,

On Star radio commercials make me tear up,

My son is exactly the same height as I am,

I sometimes have a small cup of coffee while I am cooking supper,

Does this mean I am getting old?

Sorry to tell you...but we are both getting old! I can do without the coffee though. My oldest is 16 and both my youngest and oldest are taller than me. I also get my hair colored every 7 weeks, and my joints crack and pop like Rice Krispies! You know you are really old when you eat supper at 4:00 p.m.,LOL!

Okay, okay, not at the 4:00 supper yet, so there is still hope. Remember...middle school gets out at 4 around here. Levi would die if we ate supper before he was home, haha. P.S. I have the popping problem too.

Some of that just sounds like PMS, lol! Hang in there. I'm not liking that my boys are growing up either and I know they will all be taller than me ;)

Your gettin' old post made me laugh cuz i am only 31 and can relate to a few of those!
The morning coffee is a MUST

The teenagers in the mall ARE IRRITATING

MOST commercials that are somewhat "touching" make me tear up (and i used to laugh at my friends for bein' so "emotional")
