Double that list right? We didn't have to provide school supplies at our old school...but I'm thinking we will now. But yay for Kindergarten :)

Personally, as a teacher, I think they should just say,"Send a personal check of $20 to the teacher and let her buy what she needs." Or how about adding,"Money for spa treatment, massage, pedicure, manicure." It's just a suggestion. P.S. Great ideas for grandmoms also.

You just as well throw in the t.p.
I had a pencil that I took to school. Er..maybe it was a quill pen.

Mom, 20 wouldn't cover it. More like 40 per child. That doesn't include the 4 dollar supply fee we have to send in for the agendas, and the field trip shirts (another $4), and lunch money, and various things each personal teacher will add to the list at open house.

Yes, double that list. This pic is just the buddies supplies. After I took it, I realized some of the stuff was still laying on the office couch, lol. But this is most of it.

seriously--a TOWEL??? that's ridiculous. Don't teachers in our area get money for supplies, mind you it's probably not enough. 8 days!

and i thought OUR supply list was long...ok, so actually it's close to the same.

Whenever i start to get bothered by the "needs" list of the school, i remind myself that my kids go to a private school (aka "charter school") for free (hence the charter part).

We are blessed and therefore i cannot complain.

Wow! I'll bet we didn't have to take anything with us to kindergarten. I can't believe they use all that. Of course, it's not like it used to be, they actually have class and learn things, not like when I was young.
