The ground is so wet at the Eudy Place, that it is not closing behind the planter.
You can actually see the seeds laying in the slots.
So, the hubs decided to try out the spiky wheels from the old planter. As you can see, it works. The spikes force the dirt back over the slots.
Now we have a new problem, remember how short the old planter was? Yep, we need more wheels. This is going to be expensive, lol.

I guess you'll be making a trip to John Deere to get more wheels!
Actually we'll be ordering those on-line.
Very interesting! I like it when you educate me like this.
After June 13 I will have every evening free. Right now Brittney has dance on Monday night. You just tell me what days you want to walk. Everyday is fine with me. I need to get rid of my rolls too. Nani bit mine last night, lol! If we get brave, we can walk it two times!
Wow! It really is wet there! We have sandy soil, so it doesn't hold water too long.
We can take a little of your moisture. Although almost every seed planted in this area came up, we've missed a lot of rain. Things are up but need rain.
Sorry, I don't own any of those wheels or I could lend them to you.
