A few days ago the buddies convinced the hubs to take the training wheels off of their bicycles.
He did, and G caught right on to riding with two wheels.
S... not so much. He was wiggling the handlebars as he was riding, and would fall right over.
But, he would get right back on and ask to try again.
Today was different. Today he was on a mission. He rode and rode and rode.
It is so much fun to see the joy and pride on their little faces.
As S is riding, he is shouting, " I'M DOING IT, I'M DOING IT, I'M DOING IT!" It is so funny.
Want to know what brought this on? W has outgrown his dirtbike, and L has outgrown HIS dirtbike. Time for everyone to move up.
Well, the buddies found out that they had to learn how to ride a bike FIRST. (thank goodness they don't know about dirtbike training wheels, lol)

Oh buddies - you are growing up so fast!
Cute! My 3yo is just getting the hang of peddaling WITH training wheels! And are those camo boots rain boots? If so my lil guy has 'em too - and wears them CONSTANTLY! I ♥ it, but hate it at the same time. I mean, here its August and his poor little feet sweat like CRAZY in those things! We finally just put them away so he won't wear them for awhile!
Yep, they are rainboots. We usually get the black ones from Wal-mart, but they never seem to have two pairs in the same size. (got these at the Childrens Place for 3.99 and then used a 20% off coupon on top of that). They make great play shoes because they can put them on and off without help. Oh, they also got the bikes when they were three.... so it has almost been two years.
do they really have training wheels for dirt bikes?...
way to go buddies!
Yep, they really do!
How cute! Those are some little bikes. Way to go S & G!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I have a (blogging) friend who has two older boys and twins for a grand total of FOUR boys!
I think God gave boys to mom's like you two. I couldn't handle that many boys!
I remember learning how to ride my bike without training wheels. I fell alot. Your son looks like he has the determination to master it, though.
Don't be a stranger to my site and leaving comments ya hear?!
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
They look like they're doing a great job! I can't wait to see everyone when y'all get back!
