Hey, we learned a new word today. It is really a word. For real. Want to know what it is? U.P. (insert laughter) Really, U.P. It is a word, for real. Why aren't you laughing? Can you believe that? U.P. Get it? Up is U.P. Mrs. Bell said so. It is a word. A "U' and a "P". MOM! U.P. Up, up, up, is a word that you spell with a "u" and a "p". (hysterical laughter from the back of the car) Seriously. U! P! A word!
What choice do you have but to laugh along with them? It doesn't last long.

How funny!!! I'm beginning to get use to boy humor around here, in fact some of it is being taught by me.... This reminds me of telling someone to spell "I cup".
The trouble is little boys humor only goes downhill from here.
