Beta Club

Last Thursday, Levi was inducted into the National Junior Beta Club at the middle school for his grades last year. Only seventh and eighth graders can be inducted, so hence, the waiting until the following year. The kids were asked to dress nicely, and walked in carrying candles. It was like something straight out of the teen movies. When I was in public school, we got zilch for making good grades, I am so glad they do things like this at Mount.
This was the only shot I was allowed to take. Levi wouldn't walk back into the auditorium for a shot in front of the banner. He was more concerned with giving my mom and I his dress shirt and getting to wrestling practice. That's okay, we enjoyed a cherry lemon Sundrop in his honor at What a Burger after we left, lol.
(thanks Mom for going with me, and thanks to my brother, David, for keeping the wild people at home!)
Congrats to all the kids from the youth group who also made it in! A ninety-five or higher average is hard work!!

oh my goodness--who is that child??? Not Levi! He's so grown up! Good grief. I haven't seen him in ages!

He looks even older when he wears his contacts.
