Long Day

Well, last night I drove the buddies over to my mom's to spend the night so I could help unload pumpkins for our church's pumpkin patch. The older boys and I had planned a trip to the new Lego Store, but I wasn't able to drop off the buddies as early as I had hoped. Plan B was to go to the little mall and shop for their birthday, but they had nada. We ate at Zaxby's and came home, all a tad sad from missing out on our previous plans. Then my mom called and G was crying and saying his ear hurt. I could hear him in the background, so at 10:45 pm I drove BACK to my mom's and got the buddies. On the way home G's ear drum ruptured, and then he was fine. We got home after 11 and all he wanted to do was eat. He and I slept on the couches in the living room just in case more symptoms appeared. This morning I barely opened my eyeballs enough to read the clock on the mantle. EIGHT O CLOCK!!!! I hurriedly woke up everyone and got them dressed and fed. I dropped off the big boys at church, and made a John Deere run for parts for the hubs. This day feels so freaking long. Will it ever get dark so we can go back to bed? My eyes feel like they have sawdust in them. Oh, and as for the birthday presents... I still have absolutely nothing. And that party? No plans. Yes.... I suck.

It's okay, stuff happens sometimes! I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Leigh, I feel like this week has been one hundred years long. I just can't get out of this funk and plan something.

Nancy, I hope you are right. :)
