Farm Fridays

This picture says it all. You have to stop baling hay when the sun goes down, because the dew falls very quickly in NC. What does a farmer do in the dark? Unload (or load) the trucks. Depending on what tomorrow brings. Right now we are harvesting wheat, square baling straw, and planting soybeans. Amongst all that activity, we are also loading semis from Mauney with wheat, and hauling wheat to Talley. Oh, and don't forget, keeping an eye on the corn for weeds, bugs and blights.

I have been breaking up fights and hearing "I'm bored" allot. Next week the activities start. Oh, and did Chad tell you the washing machine broke? It is always something, lol.

Yeah and he said the one you want will take 3 weeks to get here. What in the world are you going to do for 3 weeks?
