Updates

For those of you whom haven't read all of the comments. We were turned away by the school yesterday because none of the house ownership papers have our name on them. EVERYTHING else does. AND even though we already have two kids attending the schools in Mount, they would not let us sign up the buddies. We have written the superintendent of the school system and are awaiting his reply. I am seriously thinking about calling Action Nine.
Stay tuned.

so what are they telling you that you're supposed to do with the buddies? What do renters do that don't have a written lease agreement? Can their kids not go to school? That is so frustrating!

What? I just don't understand. If you have children already there, how can they not let you register your others? That is crazy!

Wait did I miss something? You have two other children attending this school. You live in your family owned home, farm the land, and yet you can't go to school in your own district? And I'm almost certain the taxes your family pays on the farm land goes to that district... they may want to rethink their thought process... because if you cant go to school where your family pays the tax, then maybe your tax dollars need to go somewhere else....

I'd be making some phone calls, and it wouldn't be pretty - stupidity makes me have very little patience... like none at all... and now my blood pressure is up, and its not even my problem... sorry!

Good luck!

That's our tax money hard at work for us folks....hiring stupid people.
So are they going to kick Wyatt and Levi out of school because you can't prove you live in Mt. Pleasant? I say you have every farmer in Cabarerus County call the school. I mean, who doesn't know your family? Barrier, like Hahn is what Mt. Plesant was made up of for a LONG time!
