Ready

We are ready to plant corn. Now if it would dry up a tad, so I can go to Stone Mountain for Easter with my sister and brother-in-law. Because, if the corn isn't in the ground, we aren't going anywhere.

That's hard to imagine for this midwestern boy.
The earliest we go here is April 15th. Most wait for the 20th.
With that planter you should have the corn in the ground pretty quickly. That is if you can get past the first day of adjustments. When we raised sugar beets, everyone spent so much time digging up the tiny seeds, (on their knees)with their eyes close to the ground that there was a joke about all the farmers having sunburned a** holes. Hope that doesn't happen with the new planter.

Hey, the hubs is ALWAYS on the ground with his screwdriver digging to see if they are the correct depth/spacing. Totally relate!

We won't know until closer to Easter. How do you get invited to the beach and we never do?
