Snow?

Update: It has already snowed eight inches in the mountains and the secondary roads are closed.  Not looking great for us in the morning.  Well, my morning took a different twist when the hubs informed me of the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.  Tonight we have a 80 percent chance for snow, and tomorrow we have a 60 percent chance for snow.   If you live in the South you know that means two things.  If any flakes fall from the sky and accumulate at all, there won't be any school tomorrow.  I am not exaggerating people.  Secondly, as I type this, women of all ages are cramming into Food Lion and buying them out of milk and bread.  Crap!  I was going to take my time this morning and then go to Sam's and do my monthly grocery shopping.  Realizing the crowd that would be there, I rushed everyone into getting dressed and grabbing granola bars, and into the car.  We were at Sam's by 8:45.  All four boys got fruit and a cookie at the side door.  The buddies know all about this, but the big boys were a tad confused by getting food as they walked in.  I tried to explain about the business hours but who knows whom got what.  At 9:58 we were walking out the doors with two buggies.  Yes, we are that good.  It was awesome.  I love our business card, and not waiting in line to check out.   Well, if it snows tonight and they call off school for Tuesday (yes I KNOW Stanly is out, but we are not) we are going skiing.  Cross your fingers!

Enjoy your snow day - and it's kinda like that around here - we call it french toast day - because everyone buys milk, eggs and bread.

And I wish I could get in and out of Sam's that quickly...

I love that you said "buggies." I learned that from the South too!

Y'all have more snow in your mountains from one storm than we've had up here all winter. I live in PA. I don't think one good snow storm is too much to ask for. We've only accumulated over an inch once this winter so far.
