Party in the Park

This week-end was the Party in the Park in Richfield.  My Grandparents and parents, have always been a huge part in it all taking place.  This year was no exception, my Grandmother was helping all over the place.  The boys all spent the night with my parents and were already at the park when I arrived.  The people above were playing some awesome music.
I recognized the two sitting together on the stools right away.  Robert and Emily Misenheimer, they sang at my parents wedding.  And I knew the guy, next to the end, on the right side was David Chandler, he used to teach my brother and I gymnastics.  The guy in the middle had a familiar face but the name didn't come, Angie Lefler's husband.  (Sorry, dude on the end, I truly don't know you.)
I asked my daddy who the boy was.  He chuckled and said it was Robert and Emily's son, Clay.  What... Clay?  He was on my soccer team many moons ago when he was five along with Graham and Ben.  Shouldn't he be about 15 or something?  Good grief I'm getting old!
In case you are wondering there is more than just music and antique tractors.  Although, some might argue that those two things alone would make a great Party in the Park.  There was also a car show, three of which Wyatt had seen at the store over the week-end.  Great food, local crafts and veggies, jumping things for the kids, the Firehouse, an auction, and much more.  May I just add, Grandmama, you did a great job!  Two thumbs up!

Sounds like it was some good, clean family fun. Something that can be hard to come by nowadays.

Your community sounds really awesome. Looks like it was a great weekend, weather-wise for this event!

Leigh, the wood guy wasn't there this year. So I don't think you missed out on anything great.
Colleen, the weather was quite hot, but nice.

Looks like a great time was had by all! I love the picture of the MM - we have a MM UDLX (I think - it's the one with a cab- marketed as a tractor to truck) where I work. We've had so many comments on it, and the story of the restoration process was amazing.
