Do????

It seems everyone and their brother is concerned about what I do while the buddies are in preschool.  I know, it is not like I haven't had one or more kids at home with me for the past eleven years.  So, to clear up any inquiries, here is my morning from Monday.
I got up at 6am and drank my coffee and posted my blog for the day.  When I made the coffee, I poured the buddies their Sunny D and put a vitamin on the lid of their cups, and sat them on the kitchen table, so it was ready for them the moment they came downstairs.  Then I made sure the older two ate breakfast, packed their backpacks, put on their shoes and brushed their teeth.  Then we re-checked to make sure they have what they need for the given day (ie. Thursday is ice cream day for W, and he has to take an extra 75 cents.  Or if it is an A day L needs his P.E. uniform)  L goes outside at 7:15 and W goes outside at 7:20.  I then watched out the windows until I saw them get on the correct bus.  I fixed breakfast for the buddies and got them dressed for preschool.  We packed their lunch-boxes and backpacks for the day.  Landon dropped them off, but normally I do that.  I leave at 8:25 for St. John's.  Once home, I folded three loads of laundry that didn't get done on Sunday afternoon.  Then washed four more.  And folded them.  I went into the buddies room and cleaned it up, then sorted out their summer clothes and designated which ones were to be donated and which ones were to be kept.  I moved on to W's room and did the same thing in there.  I balanced the checkbook, and located the missing library books so they could be returned.  I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher.  Then I read L's schedule and realized that he had misunderstood it, and he DID need his uniform this week.  I traipsed back upstairs and dug out a clean uniform, found his P.E. bag and deodorant, and put it in the car.  I studied his class list to figure out where he would be when I got there (not as easy as it sounds).  I dropped off the library books on the way to preschool, and picked up the buddies.  Then the three of us went to the middle school.  We found his social studies class and gave him his bag.  As I thought, he said several girls told him that his twin brothers were too cute.  We drove home and read a library book and took a nap.  At 2 the hubs called and I had to run to Royster for him.  Upon arrival back home the buddies played outside until W got home at 4.  I helped W with his homework and then L with his.  At 5:30 I cooked supper.  Fried chicken, mac and cheese, and corn.  At 6:30 we eat and call the father-in-law and tell him to come over and eat.  At 7 we start showers.  Around 7:30 the father-in-law and the hubs eat supper together.  At 8:30 the buddies go to bed.  At 9 the big boys go to bed.  Any questions?

No Ma'am never had an y questions here. Your day reads about like mine. I didn't take my shoes off from the time I put them on to go to the bus stop at 8:05am yesterday until 7pm last night. People ask me what I do all day with my oldest in 2nd grade - HA!

Hee, hee. Aren't most moms' days like that? I used my "preschool time" do run errands, grocery shop and do any cleaning that was easier to do alone, lol! Preschool is great, especially when Christmas shopping for your own kids need to be done!

Better yet, why doesn't Leigh keep your boys so you can go Christmas shopping? As for "what do you do with your time", I don't have that many children at home, and I still don't have any extra time.

Your day sounds like most moms - non-stop until your head hits the pillow.

Oh my word! I would never wonder. Four boys, a farm! You are the Mom! I never wondered since I know what I do have done all day these days with twins. So 4.

The other one, was people asking me if I get bored! Terrified but never bored! my girlfriend and I always say! :)

Wow...you are super busy!

I can't believe you crammed all of that into ONE DAY!

Some days of mine are like that, but for the most part, i like to spread it all out over the duration of the week so that i don't feel so exhausted at the end of the day.
