We're back! The beach was awesome. We had my sister, Leigh, and her husband, Dave, join us again this year.
One thing the kids will never forget, is our shark sighting. Here is everyone on the beach watching it swim back and forth in our area.
How did we know it was a shark? I have to admit, I was skeptical of the first lady who screamed for everyone to get out. I figured she saw a skate. Then, I saw it.
The front fin, followed by a tail fin. Three feet long. In water between ankle and knee length. Yep.... it does something to your head after you see that. Needless to say, we were "land bound" after that for the day, lol.
Stay posted for more pics to follow.

a shark? for real? no way!
Awesome pictures - your kids look like they had a great time!
Missed ya'll! Oh my word a shark!! yikes. How did the swimming go afterwards? I have never seen one at the beach.
Do we have twins or what?! I thought I would answer you here. Our boys do that. They chose different things and then they so want the other ones choice - of course, after we're home, tags removed.
They chose the same tennis shoes within the requirement of lace ups for basketball camp. One chose grey orange and white and the other chose black red and white. So same but different.
Have your boys ever done this thing - chose what appears to be an identical toy color and all. And they can tell exactly whose is whose at home. It's erry - twinsy right!
It's precious too right! I put up a post just now on their differences on reading, etc.
Can't wait to hear your take. ;)
p.s. Love the pic of the four of them walking! :) Is there any other way to photograph our active boys! :)
Looks like a really relaxing time . . . well, except for the shark. :)
I am trying to go over your pictures here but I have a tooth to get out of a six year old. Oh, the drama!
Take care.
I can't believe ya'll saw a shark! Yikes, I don't think I would be wanting my kids to get back in the water after that. Glad everyone had fun, can't wait to see more pics.
That top one is a great picture! Sort of illustrates the end of summer, doesn't it?
Looks like a great trip, with or without sharks!
we were just at the beach last week (Myrtle Beach) and a kid (maybe 16) caught a 3 1/2 foot hammerhead shark! I stayed out of the water after that!
Your boys are adorable!!!
I'll never forget the first time I saw a shark...haven't like the ocean much since...something about the thought of it being there and NOT seeing it that gets me!...glad ya'll had fun and that you came home w/ all your fingers, arms and legs!
