Soybeans

What has been going on in the farm front?  Allot of spraying, thanks for asking.  Last week the kill down was becoming evident, and the beans are growing great!  I love seeing the rows.
This field was half drilled and half planted.  The drilled ones are closer together, the planted ones are further apart.  We ran the drill and the planter to get finished faster.  Farmers have deadlines too.  FSA deadlines and crop insurance deadlines.
Aren't the patterns neat?  You can even see the rows where the wheat was before we planted the soybeans.
Here is Joe Cool out for a ride on his dirt-bike.... he took this pic of himself.  Too cute!

Why is it, that growing up - I couldn't find the beauty in the corn and soybean fields I was surrounded in, and now as an adult, I would love to be in the middle of all that beauty, and peace?

Great photos, thanks for sharing!
