Here is the motley crew of cousins. Everyone but Luke, that is. Took this pic at my grandmothers pool last week after an afternoon of swimming and playing croquet. Okay, the kids don't play croquet in the real sense of the game. It is mostly running around in the grass hitting the balls as hard as possible. The kids had pizza for supper and grandmama cooked some of our silver queen for them to sample. Just a few short years ago, that was me, Shaun, Kyle, Michael, Mary, and Joshua. Doing the same stuff, sitting at that same spot. Where has the time gone?Don't blink.

hey--i was there too! :) I loved when Granddaddy would bring out a huge watermelon while we were swimming and we would all gather round and demolish it--juice dripping everywhere :).
I meant when we were the ages the kids are now. You weren't out there when I was Levi's age, lol.
You aren't kidding about the not blinking. I can't believe how quickly they all grow up.
it all looks like alot of fun to me!...and I hate blinking....is there a way to stop it? I even remember sitting in those chairs....even if I'm not a cousin! :)
It does go so quickly. I savor it yet it doesn't really slow it down does it? :) THey are adorable.
I think they're the best grandchildren in the world. But hey I'm one of their grandmamas. Of course I think their parents are pretty great also! I loved watching you guys in the pool, and I love watching these guys. Hey, Leigh, I'm looking forward to seeing yours out there one day also. And no, Leigh isn't pregnant, I'm just looking ahead.

Makes me want to cry when I think about it. I mean I used to change some of their diapers- and that seems like yesterday!
