Just returned from a Pilates class at the smaller Y closer to the house.  When you join the main Y in our county, you can go to all three of them.  This one is deceptive.  It is in a HUGE, two-story building that is practically brand new.  But, when you walk inside the whole first floor is other offices.  For instance, the Town Hall is in there.  So the Y is only on the second floor, and there is no pool.  I am not sure whose idea it was to build a Y with no pool, but whatever.  I went for the class, which took place at the same time as the children's movement class.  The buddies wouldn't take the class but they had fun playing in the playhouse.  Back to Pilates, it is a GREAT workout.  The teacher even read a Bible verse before we got started, and then she played some Christian rock.  I was impressed, and all of the ladies were very nice and welcoming.  Very low-key and relaxing.  Definitely looking forward to going back next week.  Brandi (note to my sis, this is a DIFFERENT Brandi... not our sis-in-law Brandy, lol) if you can get up early enough to join me, you would LOVE it.

Sounds like fun! I really loved my Pilates class that I took. It really strengthens the muscles, especially in the back. I bet the Buddies would like the movement class if they just tried it--they'd probably have fun! Love U!

I think Leigh is right, does sound fun- and the buddies would probably like the movement class. But if they are anything like G, just getting them to try it would be a miracle. Have fun exercising!- Brandy (with a Y)
