Cotton

The only thing I can say about this years cotton crop is praise God from whom all blessings flow.  It didn't rain this summer when we needed it.  It was looking dicey.
We prayed and prayed about whether to even plant cotton at all.  It is so hard to remember who is on control of everything around here.  The other night we read James 1.  Know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.  Wow.  The screen on my iPhone became blurry as I was reading out loud.  God knows.  Go to Him with all of your problems first.

amen! I love James. I'm so blessed to have you as a sister! I thank God for you, and pray for you and your family and the rest of ours every time I do yoga during relaxation--we are so amazingly blessed by a loving family!!!

So true and a great reminder for all of us.

Amen and Amen.
The cotton thing is completely foreign to me.
The cost of another line of equipment would put me under.
Trust me. As one who had 3 months of 10 deep water running over his fields, the lack of a little rain is not all that bad.
And yes it's hard to remember who is in charge. But we're soon on the way to worship him in about an hour.

Cliff we hire someone to pick our cotton. The other equipment is our regular stuff. Nothing new for it this time around.

That is so awesome! I often forget that He takes care of everything. Glad you had a good crop! I've seen some good cotton down here too.

Nancy, I didn't say good crop, lol. We literally had no rain when everyone else did.
