Very cute. so y'all only make 1 house? How do you get the boys not to fight while working on it together?

I read in the post below about it coming with premade icing. Ours came with premade icing too. Is that not how they normally come? What do they normally come with- powdered and you mix it up or something ?

In the past, I bought the houses from AC MOORE or Walmart for ten dollars. This year I got it at Sam's for 9. You had to mix up the icing, and it would harden before you would be done with the house. The Sam's kit had it pre-made in an icing bag. They each did a side of the house, it worked quite well. Normally we do two, but this year I decided one was enough.

The mix icing does sound like a pain. Ours came from Target and I didn't even think to look at how the icing was packaged. Each doing 1 side is pretty smart. :)

The house looks great! Ours never looks right, we usually give up after 2 sides, lol!

Too cute! Do y'all ever eat it?! Leave it to me, true Southerner. :) I always hate to see them go to waste but when we look at it a few days, it doesn't look so appetizing.... :)

That is a great looking gingerbread house! I love making those with my kids. It's been a few years now, though.
Perhaps next year we'll get around to doing one.
How fun!

You guys have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
