Farm Fridays

Landon had a visitor in the field the other day. Click on the picture to see him closely.
Yeah, that is a coyote people. They are making themselves known more and more around here. Landon said it stood there and watched him for quite a while and didn't seem scared. Gives me the heeby-jeebys just thinking about it.
This is some new land we picked up, so I am not sure what we are calling it yet. But, isn't it just gorgeous?
Side note: Net wrapped round bales for sale. Very tight. Clean hay for your horses and cows. Call me.

Hey Honey! Good pictures. Hopefully the time will come SOON when the Wildlife Commission has neutered all the coyotes in OUR counties in the piedmont, too, so the red wolf can take over again.
Love,
Daddy

Oh my! How far is this from your house? Sometimes we can hear the coyotes howling at night. It doesn't sound like a normal dog howl. I think they are in the woods behind our house.

I'm not sure where it is, I haven't been there yet. But we have had them in the pasture over here getting the cows worked up. Didn't have time to shoot them before they ran off.

We have seen coyotes run our streets here...
i have to be careful letting my kids play outside by themselves.
Those coyotes are dangerous.

They would think Eli's a little snack!
My girls would be dinner!

Around here you can't have a farm named after you until you're dead.
I'll pass on the hay. I'm trying to get the girls to quit feeding the horses. It only encourages them.

I remember living in the city limits of A-Town, and having them come up in our back yard. Granted, we were surrounded by woods, but it was still scary. Try being woken up at 3am from those guys. Hank was tiny then and the poor thing just sat there and shook!
