Hallway

Painting in the hallway has begun.  Only.... wet paint plus four kids aren't a great combo.  The hallway and stairwell are the only way to get to the playroom, the bathroom, and their bedrooms.  Can we all just say "AHHHHHHH".  Yes, there are finger prints on the door to the bathroom, and yes, G forgot and drug his fingers along the wall upstairs before lunch yesterday.  He swore he didn't do it, but the light beige paint on his hands told another story.  I was looking forward to finishing the trim upstairs today during preschool, until I remembered that they have a field trip this morning.  Can't a mom catch a break?  Pics will be posted if I ever get through.

Yeah, gotta make my fourth run to Lowe's after the field trip. The white paint is too "shiny". Don't laugh.

You are amazing. You are keeping priorities each day. You are an example for sure. I just talked about that a little today on my post. I see it here each day! Have a great weekend friend. We got a little dusting of snow this am! :)

The day after harvest is finished and I'm supposed to help paint the bedroom. But I was wondering, since you're obviously really good at it...?

Hey Shannon, I read on down. the floor looks great. We did the same thing. We went from a worn out dirty old commercial carpet to a nice laminate. Good friends would be here a while and say something like, "did you guys do something to your floor?"

I'll be crossing my fingers for you. Painting is a BIG job with kids around. LOL about the culprit caught beige handed. I'm sure it will look great when it's done especially since the hallway gets so much traffic.

Enjoy your holiday get together :)
