Slide

Here are the soccer players in a line doing warm-ups.
They have been working on this one for several weeks.
The coach is getting near his whit's end.  So he demonstrates for the 967th time.  Slide left, slide right, left knee up.
Ummmm, nope.  The funny thing is several of the kids fall down when they try to do this, because they turn around to see the coach and lose their balance.
This is why I am not a soccer coach now ( I coached in high school, back when I had a little thing called "patience") I would be saying something like.... This isn't rocket science people!  Slide, slide, leg up!

i can't believe you were up blogging that early. I would die. I need sleep! I don't know how you do it--were you always a morning person or does having children just do that to you?

No, the kids did it to me, lol. I can't sleep past 6 now even if I try. I haven't set my alarm in five years. L gets up at 6 and W gets up at 6:30, to eat get dressed and get on the bus.

Funny! Was this a practice or before a game? Is W having fun playing soccer?

And Leigh- I have kids, but I don't get up that early, I still need my sleep!

It was practice. In this league the players wear their uniforms to everything, practice or a game.
