Happy Father's Day

Happy father's day to you, Landon.  I was tagged by Beth to do 10 reasons why I love you (or something of that sort).  I am going to do five with pics.  Number one is that you love your family, and love spending time with us. This is us doing our annual fireworks and weenie roast at Grandpa Dan's.  Note the date.  We couldn't do it last year because of the burning ban and the drought.  It was too dry to shoot off fireworks.
Number two, is your ability to fall asleep anywhere.  The bathroom cabinets, living room floor, recliner, office couch, hammock, rug in the kitchen, you get the idea, lol.
Number three is that you can make whatever the boys dream up.  And include them in the process.  From the planning phase, to the building phase.
Number four is your ability to build anything you think of.  Here is the latest project, the new shed at the shop.  Even making your own rafters (the blue things) and saw-milling the lumber.  Ya'll don't even know how much math this involves.
Number five is that you can fix just about anything mechanical and electrical.  Engines are no match for you, heehee.  Rebuilding, welding, and getting dirty are all in a days work.  This is a pic of you changing the combine tire in the field (thank the Lord we had just bought some and had them hanging out at the shop).  I am always surprised when people ask me who our service guy is.  The first time someone asked me I didn't know what they were talking about.  ;)

You and Landon know how to laugh and cry together. That's important. You've been through some tough times, and weathered them all. That is love. ( I would have liked to have seen the other night with the stairwell incident, though. Great comedy.)
Love, Mom
